EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mizuno, born in Tokyo in 1946, is a graduate of Keio University Faculty of Economics.
Mizuno served as president of Seibu Department Stores Ltd., an advisor to Netscape Communications Corp., a guest professor at Keio University Faculty of Policy Management, a member of the House of Councillors, CEO of Institute of Marketing Architecture Co., Ltd., an external director at Francfranc Corp., an external director at Oricon Inc., and the special advisor to Mori Building Co., Ltd.
Mizuno’s various achievements include the successful launch of LOFT, a retail chain specializing in daily miscellaneous items. LOFT established itself as a cultural trendsetter with operations in Shibuya, the hub of Japan’s youth culture.
Mizuno currently works with investment funds in Japan and overseas to create corporate revitalization programs and raise money for start-ups while providing marketing consulting. Mizuno, deeply concerned about the environment, has also been serving as chief director of Think the Earth, an NPO General Incorporated Association Think the Earth, for the past two decades.
Matsushita, born in Toyama Prefecture in 1972, graduated from the Department of Agriculture of Meiji University School of Agriculture.
He is a visiting research fellow at Peking University.
Matsushita specialized in carbonization research as a student, developed carbonization equipment and established Zero Emission LTD.. He carbonized and recycled various waste materials to turn them into a variety of commercial products.
Matsushita subsequently established ZE Energy Inc.with the goal of generating electricity through wood gasification.
Matsushita has participated in subsidized projects led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Ministry of the Environment, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and developed various types of carbonization equipment.
Matsushita aims to build an infrastructure for regional renewable energy and recycling projects to revitalize local economies by drawing on the technology he has developed on his own.
