The world is facing complex environmental and resource challenges.
Reliance on fossil fuels remains high, and rising CO₂ emissions are accelerating climate change and increasing economic risks for businesses and society as a whole.

Furthermore, in the agriculture and forestry sectors, biomass resources such as rice husks, thinned timber, and livestock manure are not being fully utilized, and issues related to odor and volume reduction during processing and storage are becoming apparent.

To address these challenges, ZE Energy proposes the “Carbonization Center Model,” which converts waste into a carbon resource.
By carbonizing biomass waste, this model simultaneously achieves: (1) stable carbon sequestration (carbon negative), (2) substitution for fossil fuels such as coal, and (3) waste volume reduction and resource recovery.
This model goes beyond simply reducing environmental impact; as a new social infrastructure that integrates resource circulation, energy, and economic efficiency, it contributes to the development of sustainable regions and industries.
